I can’t remember anything special about the first social hour I attended (not an official Lodge meeting, just the dinner before). It was casual and I felt comfortable.
Even so, I felt I was in the right place. “Breaking bread” with these men, some from other Lodges in the region, felt natural and surprisingly compelling. Clearly, for me the Brothers and the ideals of Freemasonry had touched my heart and enlivened my spirit.
